Enjoy one of the area's popular family activities at two ice skating rinks located in town.

For a nominal fee, you can rent your ice skates and then take to the ice. When the sun is shining and the skies are clear, there is nothing quite like gliding across a pool of frozen water. Be sure to dress warmly and be prepared for an occasional fall.

The Olympic figure skating shows, which are put on during the winter months (Saturdays) are also a wonderful attraction. Many world-renowned skaters participate in these elegant and professional programs.

Outdoor Ice Skating Rink
The outdoor ice rink is one of the few year-round rinks and the home of the Sun Valley Ice Shows.

  Daily 10am-8pm
• Session Fees:
  Adult $12
  Child $10 (under 5 free with paid adult)
• Skate Rental:
  $6 (figure or hockey style)

Indoor Ice Skating Rink
The indoor rink is a full-size rink and the summer home of the Sun Valley Figure Skating School and open hockey. The Sun Valley Suns call the indoor rink their home in the winter and schedule games every Friday and Saturday evenings. Stick and puck and open hockey are available at the indoor rink.
