Fairfield, Idaho can be found in the midst of the Camas Prairie, 54 miles southwest of Sun Valley on Highway 20 or 60 miles east of Mountain Home, Idaho and the junction of Highway 20 and Interstate 84.

In the winter, the combination of sun and fun draws visitors to this unique prairie community. Winter activities include snowboarding, groomed alpine skiing and cat skiing and back country skiing. There are hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails – something for each level of expertise. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing.
With the wide-open prairie at its feet and the mountain area at its back, Fairfield is a wonderful place to enjoy the long, sunny days of summer and the clear star-studded night skies. Getting Here
To travel to Fairfield from Sun Valley, head south on Highway 75 to the junction of Highway 75 and Highway 20. Head west on Highway 22 and shortly you will arrive at Fairfield. Along the way you will enjoy different views of the southern end of the Wood River Valley and open prairies. The total distance between the two is 54 miles.
